On February 27, 2025, a by-election was held in Ontario, resulting in a landslide victory for Premier Doug Ford. This was the third victory for the Progressive Conservative Party with 80 votes in parliament. The election cost $189 million.
The New Democratic Party came in second with 27 votes, followed by the Liberal Party with 14 votes and the Green Party with 2 votes.
